By accessing and using this website the user agrees to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, as set out below. Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions; "Agreement" means these terms and conditions under which you agree to be bound in the event you access or use . "Disclosed information" means any and all material disclosed by the user. "Information" means any vetchannel-media.co.uk media and all other material contained in this website which is delivered by or on behalf of the Vet Channel Media or any associates thereof. "User" means you, the website user. "Website" means this website.
The information contained on this website is owned by, licensed or authorised to Vet Channel Media or by its associates. The copyright in the text, artwork, graphics and images and media on the website is owned by Vet Channel Media and/or its associates.
3. Access to the Website
We grant ‘the User’ permission to freely use the Website and its contents in accordance with these Terms and Conditions provided that:
(a) The User will not copy or distribute any part of the Website.
(b) The User will not alter or modify any part of the Website or its contents.
4. Access to media downloads and uploads
To use certain additional features of this website and gain access for the purpose of downloading and uploading media content, to a VETPod system, the user will be required to open ‘an account’, protected by a password. To open an account the user will be required to electronically sign a Digital Licence Contract or submit a signed licence contract agreement. (see;.www.thevetchannel.co.uk/contract/VETPod-Contract.pdf. Upon acceptance the user will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of access to the account and all unauthorised use.
The user must inform us immediately, with written confirmation by email directed to, firstname.lastname@example.org if they believe their password has become known to any unauthorised party or person(s).The user must ensure that any details you provide to us are correct and complete and you must tell us immediately of any changes. The user agrees not to use any automated system or software (such as robots or spiders) to access or attempt to access the Website for any purpose whatsoever.
The user undertakes:
(a) that they will only view the information for their own purpose and will not publish, reproduce, store or retransmit any of the information contained at, www.vetchannel-media.co.uk;
(b) to acknowledge and understands exclusion of liability and disclaimer provisions contained in Clause 4.
(c) not to use the website information or any disclosed information for unlawful or unauthorised purposes whatsoever, whether intentional or otherwise;
(d) that they shall not use or interfere with the website, information or disclosed information other than in accordance with this agreement and without limitation in such a way so that all or part of the website, information or disclosed information is or could be interrupted, reproduced, stored, retransmitted, published, damaged, rendered less efficient, corrupted or in any way impaired;
(e) not to use the website, information or disclosed information in any manner which constitutes an infringement of any third party rights (including but not limited to rights of copyright trade mark or confidentiality);
(f) that the user shall not use the website to re-transmit any material for the purposes of publicity, promotion and/or advertising, except as expressly allowed by us directly for their own business described within ‘the licence contract’;
(g) that, in the event it has any right, claim, or action against any other user or other third party arising out of the use of the website it shall pursue such right, claim or action independently of and without recourse to Vet Channel Media;
(h) that all intellectual property rights (including without limitation copyright, trademarks and all other rights) whatsoever in the information and website shall remain vested in Vet Channel Media and its business partners at all times;
(i) acknowledges that Vet Channel Media has no obligation to provide any information to ensure the user is able to use provide and/or access the information, the disclosed information and the website;
(j) to indemnify and keep indemnified Vet Channel Media against all claims, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses including legal fees (on a solicitor and own client basis) arising out of any breach or misuse of the information, disclosed information, website or of the user's obligations under this agreement.
6. Exclusion of Liability/Disclaimer
6.1 Vet Channel Media provides the website and information on an "as is" basis and makes no warranty or representation about the content, availability, completeness, accuracy, satisfactory quality, merchantability and/or fitness of the same for a particular use or purpose.
6.2 Furthermore, Vet Channel Media makes no warranty or representation about;
(a) the reliability or technical efficiency of the website;
(b) the security measures contained in the website and in particular the protection afforded to any information, disclosed information or other information and data.
6.3 Vet Channel Media excludes all liability,so far as is permitted by law, in respect of;
(a) any links to other websites which can be accessed via; www.vetchannel-media.co.uk
(b) any damage to the user, the users' computer hardware, software or other material or equipment resulting from the user accessing or using the website, information or disclosed information.
Vet Channel Media shall have the right to terminate this agreement and/or suspend or terminate the information, or disclosed information and website immediately and without notice to the user where the user has breached these terms and conditions.
The website user expressly agrees that by accessing the website they agree that any disclosed information, information or other data including without limitation the user's name, address, location and other relevant information relating to the user can be used by Vet Channel Media for those purposes expressly set out in the website. Please note that Vet Channel Media are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 but may use disclosed information for other specific purposes in the event that the user opts-in, via the registration pages, to such use.
9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
Vet Channel Media reserves the right to change and amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The users continued use or access of www.vetchannel-media.co.uk after such change or amendment shall be deemed to confirm the user's acceptance of any such change or amendment. It is the user's responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions regularly to determine whether any such amendment has been made. If the user does not wish to be bound by any revised Terms and Conditions they should stop using and accessing the website.
If any provision of this agreement shall be prohibited by or adjudged by a Court to be unlawful void or unenforceable such provision shall to the extent required be severed from this agreement and rendered ineffective as far as possible without modifying the remaining provisions of this agreement and shall not in any way affect any other circumstances or the validity or enforcement of this agreement.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales the courts of which shall alone be the courts of competent jurisdiction.
16. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") Notice
Materials may be made available via the Vet Channel Media website by third parties not within our control. We are under no obligation to, and do not, scan content used in connection with, www.vetchannel-media.co.uk for the inclusion of illegal or impermissible content. However, we respect the copyright interests of others. It is our policy not to permit materials known by us to infringe another party’s copyright to remain on this web service. If the user believes any materials on the web service infringes a copyright, they should provide us with written notice that at a minimum contains:
i. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
ii. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site;

17. Material created and submitted by you.
By uploading, and/or otherwise submitting or displaying on a VETPod system any material, data or media to us directly or indirectly at; www.vetchannel-media.co.uk you;
- Automatically grant us royalty free perpetual, irrevocable licence to use reproduce, modify, edit, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such material (in whole or in part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology developed now or later, for the full term of any rights that may exist in such content; and;
- waive all your moral rights in such material.
- acknowledge that we are not obliged to publish or any material submitted by you.
- agree not to post or upload any material; that is; threatening, defamatory, offensive, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory, blasphemous, pornographic, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy; or, for which you have not obtained all necessary licences and/or approvals; or; which constitutes or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise be contrary to the law of or infringe the rights of any third party, in the uk; or which is technically harmful (including, without limitation, computer viruses, logic bombs, Trojan horses, worms, harmful components,) or corrupted data or other malicious software or harmful data.
- acknowledge and accept full and total responsibility for any material or media specifically created or especially provided by you and displayed or presented on a VETPod system, and ensure that the said material or media will be in strict accordance and compliance with the applicable Vet Channel Media Terms and Conditions.
